City Wide, Lisbon

"Lisbon’s biggest festival night takes place from June 12th to 13th in celebration of Saint Anthony’s Day. Every old neighborhood comes alive with free street parties."
Santo António, the patron saint of Lisbon, is honored each year with a festival between June 12th and 13th. Even though the celebration occurs across the city, you’ll find most of the action in Lisbon’s oldest neighborhoods, like Alfama, Bairro Alto, and Graça. There are lively street parties, dancing, music, and plenty of food, especially grilled sardines. June 13th is a public holiday, so everyone can participate in the festivities.
