Right next door to the city’s National Archaeological Museum is the Epigraphic Museum. It’s worth popping into if visiting the Archaeological Museum. Dive into all things ancient Greek inscription-related, all inscribed on stone. These excavated and preserved stone chunks and tablets stand upright on display. Topics relate to political, economic, social, and religious ongoings of the ancient Greek world and life. Most of the text is in Greek (staff provide a sheet of the Greek alphabet for you), but interestingly, there are also scribings in Hebrew, Phoenician, Ottoman, and Latin.
