Chapultepec, Mexico City

"This brutalist space nestled in the woods was designed to showcase—and at times even host performances by—emerging artists whose work is in the public eye and whose expressions transcend space and time."
Nestled in the woods of Chapultepec Park is the Museo Rufino Tamayo, a must-go for fans of contemporary art. Founded in 1981 by artist Rufino Tamayo, the museum focuses on 20th-century and modern art, offering rotating exhibitions and interactive displays. Guided tours are offered Tuesday through Sunday, and a café outside the museum provides a scenic view of the neighboring forest. Admission is 90 MXN, with free entry on Sundays.
