"A romantic spot on your way to Montmartre for a peaceful stroll and photos. Look for the resident cats (and the ladies who feed them) and the tombs of Degas, Alexandre Dumas, Berlioz, and Dalida."

Paris Local

Also known as Cimetière du Nord, this cemetery is not the largest in Paris, but arguably its most famous. Visitors can find tombstones of disco legend Dalida, French impressionist Edgar Degas, and composer Hector Berlioz at this cemetery below Montmartre. It is a scenic area with maple, cedar, and fruit trees lining the walkways. It is also home to dozens of cats, which are often fed by neighborhood residents each afternoon.
