Alhambra Uncovered: A Private Perspective (3 Hours)
A must-see in Granada. It was very crowded, so we enjoyed having a private guide who helped us navigate easily. Asier did a great job and was incredibly knowledgeable about the Alhambra, the history of southern Spain, and the many religions in this area.

Asier is an excellent guide for the Alhambra. He is savvy about timing to avoid the big crowds, he knows how to negotiate through people and get you to the best viewing spots, and he will take great pictures of you along the way. He knows his stuff, and he shares a ton of info about the history, architecture, culture, plants, etc. that you will see as you tour the gardens, the military base, living quarters, and meeting spaces of the Sultans. Asier is also funny, kind, and polite. He is definitely a pleasure to spend time with. We would highly recommend his tour, as he takes care of your tickets and has an excellent approach to helping you wrap your head around the amazing Alhambra experience.

We had two wonderful days with Asier exploring the Alhambra and the great city of Granada. He not only had great information, was caring about our well-being but tailored our time to our needs and answered our many questions. He had great dining recommendations as well and helped us manage some personal logistics. I’d give him higher if I could!!!

If I could give six or seven starts to Asier I would. Such a friendly and knowledgeable guide who speaks Spanish and English perfectly. Took us to an amazing restaurant and provided photography of us that was first rate. Seriously one of the best tours that we have ever done!!! Highly highly recommended.

My husband and I recently toured the Alhambra with Asier. We could not imagine a better guide or a better experience. Asier communicated in advance to make it very easy to meet, which we really appreciated. Most of all, Asier combines a deep knowledge of history (and art history) with a talent for story telling. This was my second trip to the Alhambra, and I learned (and enjoyed) so much more this time. We very highly recommend Asier for your time at the Alhambra or any other tour in Granada.

This tour went smoothly from start to finish. Asier arranged for limo service from our port to Granada where we toured the spectacular El Alhambra. The driver was kind, professional and always on time. Asier paid close attention to every detail and although we did a lot of research before going, we learned new, insightful information from him. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a good listener who welcomes questions. Another plus is his expertise with taking photos. A day we will always treasure!
