"A beautifully preserved 1930s villa offering a glimpse into the Milanese elite’s lifestyle, complete with original furnishings and the city’s first private swimming pool."

Milan Local

If you’ve always wondered how the Milanese elite lived a couple of centuries ago, step inside the Villa Necchi Campiglio — a former 1930s villa now converted into a living museum. The contents and rooms have been painstakingly preserved, whether talking furniture, collectibles, important artwork, or even wardrobes. Certain rooms are made up of “recreated scenes” where manikins are dressed in clothing that once belonged to the owners. Designed by architect Piero Portaluppi, one of the stand-out features is the private swimming pool in the peaceful garden.
