Ueno, Tokyo

"Take a walk along Shinobazu Pond and soak in the atmosphere. Cherry blossoms are a popular attraction, and you can also enjoy a boat ride."
Ueno Park in Taito-ku is one of the oldest public parks in Japan. It opened to the public in 1873 and is easily accessible by public transportation. The park contains several attractions, like its cherry blossom trees, a zoo with pandas, several museums, traditional temples, and ponds with lotus blossoms. It’s easy to spend an entire day in the park exploring all that it has to offer, especially if you want to stop in the museums.
