An exemplary piece of 18th-century Baroque architecture, one can truly imagine what it must have been like to be alive during the 1700s when standing on the Toledo Bridge. Constructed above the Manzanares River, the walkway was built in 1732. Parts of the bridge now cross over land. Divided into sections by drum tower-like shapes, there are archways in between these, making it very striking. The antiquated monuments, landmarks, and buildings surrounding the bridge further transport you.
