This museum is Japan’s oldest and largest art gallery. It has an extensive collection of art and cultural objects, not just from Japan but also from across Asia. Even though it’s an art museum, TNM also has artifacts from Japanese history that allow you to learn more about the country’s culture and story. The basement of the museum also has an educational space. General admission for regular exhibits starts at 1,000 yen for adults.
