Tokyo Local

This local shrine in Harajuku is a hidden gem near Takeshita Street. Togo is a Shinto shrine built at the end of WWII to honor Admiral Heihachiro Togo. It has a walled shrine, a garden, and a koi pond. The garden has walking paths, with bridges over the pond providing different views of the Japanese garden. The shrine is a popular wedding spot, so you’ll often see newlyweds taking pictures.
