This small museum in Sumida City is the place to go to learn more about the history of Japanese swords. In Japanese culture, swords are weapons and objects of worship that are also signs of authority and works of art. In the collection, you'll find swords of different styles from varying periods, many of which have special status for their cultural importance. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults.
