There’s no better way to discover Tokyo Bay than from the water. Several companies offer cruises on the Sumida River, especially from Odaiba or Takeshiba to Asakusa. Some offer meals, others offer music, but they all allow you to see Tokyo’s city skyline and some of its most famous sights up close. We recommend to make sure to book one of the companies who still use the traditional Yakatabune boats. Taking a cruise around sunset is a popular choice.
