Palacio, Madrid

"A place to relax, and maybe see peacocks. I love to come here at night and take pictures of the Palace and gardens."
Built in the 1930s, the Sabatini Gardens are next to the Royal Palace. Walk through the gardens and admire the trees, topiaries, and peacocks roaming freely. Even though the gardens are beautiful any time of day, locals agree that this is one of the best spots to view the sunset. The colors of the sky reflect beautifully on the large pond in the middle of the garden.
