Palacio, Madrid

"I love this small garden and the cenador (open-air restaurant), where a noble family used to have lunch."
This small garden in the heart of Madrid is next to the Palacio del Príncipe and was built in the 18th century as part of an aristocratic residence. Even though it was refurbished in the early 20th century, the garden retains much of its original Neo-Classical structure. On the ground, you’ll notice brick paths that wind around the garden. Above, iron trellises with vines and flowers offer shade from the sun.
