Around the corner (approximately a 10-minute drive) from the Los Moriscos golf course is Playa de Granada. Forming part of the Costa Tropical coastline for the province of Granada, it's closest to Motril. As Granada city isn’t directly on the ocean, it’s a one-hour drive away. The 1.5-kilometer-long shoreline comprises soft-combined volcanic sands, and the beach remains relatively untouched. There are the odd beach bars here and there, and this beach has achieved Blue Flag status.
