"Traces the history of recorded sound from Edison’s first machines to jukeboxes and CDs. Owner Jamal demos the vintage treasures."
This relatively recent museum showcases the history of sound with a collection of around 300 musical machines from the United States and Europe. The staff at Phono Museum are passionate about recorded sound and have a unique assortment of phonographs, gramophones, and tape recorders. You can often take advantage of a tour, where the owner will show you how the various machines work. It is small but popular for music fans of all ages.
