Covering the spaces on either side of the River Manzanares, Parque Madrid Río urba (in the Arganzuela area) comprises jogging and cycling paths, plenty of eco-friendly children’s playgrounds, a boules game court, outdoor fitness areas, Puente del Rey Esplanade, and the River Manzanares Interpretation Centre. Outdoor events and concerts are often held at the grounds. A standout feature is the 278-meter-long geometric pedestrian bridge: Puente de Arganzuela. There is also a cafe in Madrid Rio.
