Parque das Nações
"I recommend spending the morning in the Old Town and heading to Parque das Nações in the afternoon. This way, you’ll travel through centuries of history, from Lisbon’s oldest to its most modern neighborhoods."

Lisbon Local

In preparation for Expo 1998, Lisbon transformed an industrial wasteland into a vibrant showplace. Years later, you’ll still see futuristic architecture, urban art, several parks and gardens, and Lisbon’s only casino. In addition to the Telecabine cable car and Vasco de Gama Tower (Portugal’s tallest building), you’ll find the famous Oceanário de Lisboa, which some consider Europe’s finest aquarium. There are also plenty of dining options in the area.
