Parc des Buttes-Chaumont

If there’s one place to picnic when the sun is shining, it’s got to be Buttes Chaumont Park, or Parc des Buttes Chaumont if you’re French. As one of the largest parks in Paris, it offers something for everyone. Playgrounds for children, all sorts of feathered friends for avid bird-watchers, multiple undulating pathways for joggers, and gorgeous views (especially over the Montmartre neighborhood) for romantics. Plus, it’s lined with waterfalls, grottos, and an artificial lake.
