Generalife, Granada

"Discover the magical view from Dar al-Arusa, a hidden Nasrid palace overlooking the city. From here, the Alhambra reveals itself in all its glory."
Any avid hikers in Granada looking to plan some sort of walking route, you can hike from Dar al-Arusa (a viewpoint at the site of the remains of a former Nasrid palace) to Silla del Moro in about half an hour (1.7 kilometers apart). Dar al Arusa was only discovered centuries after its last inhabitants lived here, and it was excavated in 1933. Only the foundation remains, and the site has been nicknamed the Bride’s Palace/the Newlyweds’ Palace.
