Ribeira, Porto

"A building dating back to the 1800s, reflecting Porto’s Industrial Revolution era. This museum holds a special place on my list as the most accurate representation of the city’s history."
This neoclassical building dates back to 1842 and is Porto's historical stock exchange building. On a guided tour, visitors can see several notable building features, such as the Hall of Nations, library, Noble Staircase, courtroom, and more. A tour takes about 30 minutes, while entrance costs €12. There is also a store and goldsmithing workshop where you can learn more about this particular kind of Portuguese art.
