This museum in the Minato district showcases the private collection of politician and philanthropist Nezu Kaichirō. Founded in 1940, the museum features premodern Japanese and East Asian art. In 2006, a new addition to the building was designed by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The collection has more than 7,400 pieces, including calligraphy, sculptures, ceramics, armor, and much more. Adult admission costs 1,500 yen.
