Jerónimos, Madrid

"Inside you can find the evolution of navy in Spain since the XVII Century. Scale boat reproduction, flags and much more things about the history of Spanish Navy."
The Naval Museum and many of Madrid’s other important museums are on the Paseo de Arte. This museum dates back to 1792 and aims to conserve, research, and exhibit artifacts from Spain’s naval history, which goes back to the Middle Ages. The building itself is also stunning, with a grand staircase and colorful vault. Visitors are asked to donate €3 (suggested) to enter the museum.
