For those with an affinity for sculptural work, head to the National Glyptotheque. Unlike many of Athen's historical landmarks and archeological sites, this gallery is outside the city center. Part of the National Gallery, the museum is set up within the former Royal Stables. Uncover all sorts of sculpted pieces. These range from the following genres: Folk; Ionian Islands; Neoclassical; Realism; 19th to 20th centuries; Modernism and Tradition; Abstract and Post-Abstract; and Anthropocentrism.
