"A time-honored temple with a history of over 1,000 years since its foundation."
Naritasan Temple is 80 kilometers northwest of Tokyo and is accessible by car or public transportation. This Buddhist temple was built around 940 and is a sacred spot with a statue of Fudo Myoo, a Buddhist deity. Naritasan has several elements within the complex, including the main halls, pagodas, and even a park. A row of shops and stores on a lively street leads up to the temple.
