For those fascinated by geodes, crystals, minerals, stones, and other fossils, the Museum of Geology UNAM will certainly pique your interest. Mexico’s landscape is rich in crystals and stones, and some of the geode displays are huge! Also here are reconstructions of ancient animal skeletons, towering above you. Families with curious-minded kids will really appreciate this. The museum isn’t overly massive, so you won’t need to spend hours here, but it makes for a wonderful (and different) morning or afternoon activity.
