It’s favored by avid hikers or those keen on going for a walk lasting a couple of hours. It is an hour’s drive from Athens, and nearby towns include Aspropyrgos, Fyli, Acharnes, and Varymbombi, among others. The 1,413-meter-tall Karavola is the tallest peak.
