Licensed Tour Guide
Seville Local

The Monastery of Santa Paula sits in Seville's San Julián neighborhood. It's the first monastery in the city to be designated a historic monument. Hieronymite nuns have occupied and run the site for more than five centuries and continue to ensure the monastery actively participates in the community. Some parts of the complex have been turned into a museum with a permanent art collection that guests can view. Don't forget to purchase some of the nuns' confections on your way out. You can't go wrong with their Sevillian bitter orange marmalade!
