MOMAT in Chiyoda is the most prominent museum for modern Japanese art. Its collection includes pieces from the Meiji period of the late 1800s to early 1900s, as well as important paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, and more. There are also 18 nationally designated Important Cultural Properties. The museum also features contemporary art from around the world. Tickets for adults cost 2,200 yen with some discounts available.
