Centro Histórico, Mexico City

"A bar with a distinct Belle Époque atmosphere, housed in a building from the early 20th century."
Stepping into Bar Mancera is like traveling back in time to the early 20th century. Built in one of Centro Histórico's old buildings, Bar Mancera has cocktails — the carajillo made with espresso and Licor 43 is worth a taste — and a full restaurant menu with items like ribeye tacos, shrimp soup, and aguachile, a dish made with fresh shrimp and a serrano-lime mixture. This place is open six days a week, Monday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., Friday from 2:00 p.m. to midnight, and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
