Every last morsel of pastry, bread, biscuits, tarts, and other sweet treats is baked fresh at the on-site ovens of Mamiche. You can go wrong, no matter what you order, however, their choux à la crème (a light cream-filled puff pastry) is a real show stopper. Other than sweet endeavors, there are savory options too, like sourdough sandwiches — hand-kneaded daily — and butternut pastry tarts. Takeaway only, don’t be surprised to find a queue forming outside. It’s a 15-minute walk/drive to Sacre Coeur.
