"I love to walk along the bridge to see the big banana garden on the Red River and the daily life of the small floating village below. "
Hanoi Local

This historic bridge over the Red River is a remnant of Hanoi’s French colonial period. In fact, it was designed by Gustave Eiffel. It was the first steel bridge in the city and has played a part in many of the city’s biggest moments over the last century. Today, the bridge is a picturesque spot for photos, so many walk or bike here to enjoy the scenery. The views are especially good at sunset.
