The annual Lisbon Book Fair is the country’s largest event of its kind and typically runs for two weeks at the end of May or during June. Hosted along the avenues of Parque Eduardo VII, apart from the book stalls, find shows and food and drink vendors here, too. Most books are in Portuguese; however, there are English paperbacks at some of the bookstores. Uncover all genres of books, and authors even do book signings or give talks. It’s heaven for bibliophiles.
