This museum is inside the beautiful Ueno Park, a popular place to enjoy a stroll and enjoy the greenery. It highlights the life and work of the artist Kuroda Seiki, who is considered by many to be the father of modern Japanese art. When he died in 1924, he donated part of his estate and works so that all could enjoy them. The museum is open six days a week, is free, and doesn’t require a reservation.
