Tokyo

"Well known for its power of Yakuyoke (warding off evil)."
This temple in the center of Kawasaki City dates back to 1128 and is the headquarters of the Chizan School of Shingon Buddhism. Even though many of the original structures didn’t survive the test of time, there are reconstructions that replicate the architecture of the Heian Period. There are several structures to explore and discover. Colorful shops leading up to the temple sell souvenirs and daruma dolls.
