3rd arrondissement, Paris

"Honors the renowned photographer by showcasing not just his work but also contemporary photography."
This collection of modern photography is a tribute to the progressive photographer Henri Cariter-Bresson. The 3rd arrondissement museum hosts a rotating collection of political and socially conscious photography. It features artists who often challenge traditional ideas and showcase a side of life especially impacted by imperialism and class boundaries. While you may find some examples of photography from Henri Cartier-Bresson, the museum does not regularly feature the artist’s works.
