Minato-ku, Tokyo

"A peaceful Japanese garden surrounded by towering city buildings, with a pond that connects to Tokyo Bay. It beautifully combines modern and historical elements."
This large landscape garden in Minato-ku is a peaceful green space contrasting the skyscrapers surrounding it. It was once a feudal lord’s home during the Edo period, but today, locals come to stroll, relax, and enjoy the natural scenery. It’s on the edge of Tokyo Bay and designed to look like it’s floating on the water. There’s even a teahouse in one of the ponds.
