Sempione, Milan

"A small park where Milan’s magnolia trees bloom spectacularly in spring."
Piazza Nicolò Tommaseo offers locals and visitors a pleasant stroll through an Art Nouveau-inspired residential neighborhood. It becomes much more scenic during the springtime, during the annual Magnolia blooms. Typically beginning in March, a bouquet of pink and white flowers fills the treetops in Giardini Renata Tebaldi, making it one of Milan’s more photogenic sites. The magnolia garden is named after acclaimed Italian soprano Renata Tebaldi.
