"Milan’s first public park, perfect for relaxing, working out, or visiting the Planetarium and the Natural History Museum. Great for kids, with a dedicated playground."

Milan Local

Surrounded by historical buildings, such as the 17th century Palazzo Dugnani, and trees like budding horse chestnuts that are also centuries old, Giardini di Porta Venezia is officially the city’s oldest public park. Designed with numerous botanical trails, there are also cycle and running routes within and a fitness trail. The park is especially great for families, with three kids’ play areas and facilities including fun bumper cars and mini trains. Also here is the Natural History Museum (established in 1833) and Milan’s Planetarium.
