Vila de Grácia, Barcelona

"A major festival/competition featuring 20-25 decorated streets. Each neighborhood chooses a different theme—one might be dedicated to space, another to video games, or even to storybook characters. A must-see if you’re here the week of August 15th!"
In mid-August, the streets of the Gràcia district come alive with music, dancing, and celebration. Residents of this neighborhood spend the whole year preparing themed decorations that adorn the streets and organizing activities, live music, and food for the week-long street festival that goes day and night. There’s even a competition to see which street has the best decorations. The festival is family-friendly and open for everyone to enjoy.
