To join the renowned festivities of the Festa dell’Uva (Wine Festival), drive 30 minutes from Florence to the town of Impruneta. Held on the last Sunday of September, four different districts of the town partake, represented by the colors red, white, blue, and green. This is followed by a series of dances, shows, craft exhibitions, and local product food tastings. The float parade in the Piazza Buondelmonti is the main feature. The festival has been a tradition since 1926.
