Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site city that’s 135 kilometers east of Lisbon. It’s the warmest city in the country and has whitewashed homes and buildings with yellow and red trim that’s reminiscent of southern Spain. Évora is one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Europe, featuring churches, temples, and beautiful plazas. There are also many restaurants that serve rustic Portuguese cuisine.
