Visiting the Chamberí Station is like stepping back in time to the 1950s and '60s. It functioned as a metro station from 1919 to 1966. Now, Andén Cero (Platform Zero) of the station is a museum of the 20th-century Madrid metro experience. Tours of the station are free, but they do book fast. Buy a ticket in advance to experience this historical site.
