Eating at El Rinconcillo is taking a bite into Sevilla’s history. Founded in 1670, it’s the oldest restaurant in the city and is located in the Santa Catalina neighborhood. The family that owns and operates it tries to preserve the decoration and atmosphere as much as possible so that it will always feel like a traditional Andalusian tapas bar. Stand at one of the barrels, order a caña (small beer), and try tapas like spinach with chickpeas, fried cuttlefish, and Spanish ham.
