El Retiro, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is central Madrid's green lung. It covers 125 hectares, with paths weaving in and out for walking, running, biking, and more. Inside, you'll find statues and sculptures, the famous Palacio de Cristal, and a pond where you can rent a rowboat. People come here to relax, listen to musicians, and enjoy a meal or snack on one of the bar terraces.
