El Carmen Museum
"This is one of my favorite spots because it offers a glimpse into what life was like for a Carmelite priest during the Viceroyalty era. It's a truly peaceful and blissful place."

This former monastery boasts courtyards and chapels embellished with religious artifacts and Baroque decorations. Within its walls, you can envision what it was like to live like a Carmelite priest during viceroyalty times. A must-watch is the stunning golden ceiling in the sacristy. But, if you’re looking for something a little more unique, head down to the crypt to see the mummified remains of benefactors and friars.
