This nature reserve on the south bank of the Douro River covers more than 66 hectares of salt marsh. Birdwatchers come here to see over 100 species that call the estuary their home. The park has walkways over the marsh, allowing visitors to admire the flora and fauna and roam freely. There are also several different ponds, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
