Though the name translates to “Desert of the Lions,” you won’t find any deserts or lions here. Instead, this roughly 1,529-hectare park in Cuajimalpa is home to temperate forests with hiking trails, waterfalls, and even 17th-century Carmelite convent ruins. The park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, so you have plenty of time to explore and enjoy its natural beauty.
