Shinjuku, Tokyo

"A delicious motsu yakitori restaurant located in Omoide Yokocho."
Daini Horaiya is a popular izakaya in Tokyo’s famous Omoide Yokocho, an alleyway packed with little pubs and restaurants. This restaurant was founded in 1947 and was the first yakitori restaurant in Omoide Yokocho. It’s usually crowded, but that adds to the atmosphere, as the seating arrangement is the same as it was in the 1940s. All patrons are asked to order food in addition to drinks, and there’s a max of two hours at the table.
