Cinemateca Portuguesa

Film is not dead, and Cinemateca proves just that. A must-stop for film lovers, this cinema house is for all appreciators of nouveau-style movies. There are daily screenings via old-school film projectors, presentations centered around film, and film festivals. Also here is a bookshop, restaurant, and a museum exhibition. A permanent, interactive exhibition titled ‘Interactive Pre-Cinema’ explores the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries in the industry. The temporary expo rotates every few months.
